Born Woman is a celebration of woman.  It’s about accepting our differences, acknowledging our vulnerabilities, appreciating our gifts and embracing the magic of truly being woman.  It’s about letting go of all we think we should be and all the demands and expectations of others.  It’s about letting go and just being.  Just being a woman…..and so much more!

For too long now, woman has felt threatened, intimidated and unsure of her own value.  Woman has accepted hiding in the shadows, being known as the fairer sex, the weaker sex, the woman behind the man, and generally living a lesser life than she was qualified to.   When a woman dares to flout feminine convention to go after what she wants, she is inevitably burdened by the cumbersome weight of the huge GUILT necklace she is bestowed by society and her own demons.

We are not a feminist organisation. You can wear or burn your bra – it’s your choice. You can accept a lower salary than a male counterpart, or you can work for an organisation that will appreciate you.  You can endure a boring, tiresome relationship or you can generate one that is caring, respectful and fun.  You can settle for living a “pleasant life” that you tolerate or you can create an amazing life that is stimulating, challenging and ultimately fulfilling.  You only get one life, you’re entitled to choose how you live it.

We are here to empower woman. To give woman everything she needs to tap into her feminine beauty, infinite wisdom, intrinsic strength, inherent (or natural) intuition and unashamed sexuality and to be able to make excellent choices for her life.  To appreciate, encourage and support the unique magnificence of every woman and know that she is perfect just as she is.  To believe in her ability to fly, even when she doesn’t believe that she has any wings.  To hold her hand as she faces challenges that she’d forgotten she could conquer.  To give her a gentle nudge when she hesitates at the start and help hold her steady when she stumbles at the end.  We are committed to helping woman achieve her full potential by being the best she can possibly be.
